Greetings fellow Hermertians,
I'm here to inform you of a recent development in the way we treat illness here in the empire. In the city of Amora, as we speak, Ertians are constructing the Empire's very first organized hospital and medical college. Ertians have long been known for their healing prowess. Our very first settled city in New Hermertia, Florae, was abundant in medicinal herbs that have been used to treat everything from the common cold to dangerous lacerations. With the continued growth of Amora, and continued spikes in its population, a demand for organized medical treatment has been rising. I commissioned this hospital be built to help address these concerns.
It is my hope that the novel idea of organized medicine will spread throughout the empire, and that realms will send their best and brightest to the still yet unnamed medical college to learn the Ertian healing arts. In this way, we can foster a healthier empire. An empire free from plague and abundant in vigor. As soon as the hospital and college are established, I would like to assist others in building their own organized medical facilities. It will be a great day when the empire's citizens no longer have to fear their waning health!
