Barton is a small town on the southern end of the Minervan delta. Built on a flood plane, all the buildings are supported on thick stilts to protect them from even the worst of weather. Benefiting from the great infrastructure of the former Kingdom of Minerva, Barton has good road links to neighboring Yerk and other settlements.

Historically, the area that Barton now stands on was planned as a co-build between Ser Barrawin and the 34th Regent of the Empire, but with resources at the time being diverted to Concordia the area was left empty. After the dissolution of The Kingdom of Minerva, a group of mercurians fleeing Ikwe settled at the area that Barton now stands, exploiting the large amount of resources that had lied dormant there for years to build the new town.

A very unique area, i would love to come and study this architectural and engineering work.

This place looks incredible. A shame that its origins were lost to the advancement of another City, and the departure of a close ally. This is however, good news to hear that this area is picking up again after its stalled start.
