533 AI : Upon the death of King Arjen IV, Christopher of Schapstadia claims the Ertian throne. A power struggle ensues as it is discovered that King Arjen IV had an heir in his son, Aven Arjen (Arjen V). The Duchy of Florae is ripped in two, with Christopher claiming the Ertian capital of Florae along with eastern and southern Ertia. Arjen V is forced north and west, claiming the city of Roseaire as the new legitimate capital of Ertia.

534 AI : Arjen V, hoping to help legitimize his claim to the Ertian throne, visits his friends in Wysteria to cast an honorary vote for their Kingdom-hood. An Ertian embassy to Wysteria is constructed in the Wysterian capital, Gallen. Arjen V meets Jenkins, chief purveyor of Wysterian affairs, and Jenkins declares Arjen the legitimate King of Ertia, weakening Christopher's grip on the throne. Arjen V also begins construction in Roseaire on the Empire's largest cathedral to the god Erts, surpassing even the one built in Three Rivers.

- Sameria Almandine is crowned Duchess of the Ilmenite Coast, Kingdom of Perth.

June 2014:
- Skyhold Guild Founded, bridge completed as first Aedifican's Guild project. Many nobles join Skyhold and participate in Guild Activities and training/sparring matches.

December 2014:
- (3rd year): Recently discovered mysterious 'Ocean Monument' in the Sea of Order offers archaeological opportunity. Assembled nobles Isaac, Atryl, the Regent and Sameria and their teams fight for their lives as aggressive sea creatures attack. Monument is cleared with no deaths, 'Guardian' creatures recorded in Imperial Logs.


- Samaia of Perth takes over as Duchess of the Ilmenite Coast from Sameria.



- (4rd year): Imperial Cartographers and Builders arrive at the Imperial Isle, to plan and discuss the future of the Imperial City, Samaia Almandine inherits title of Duchess of the Ilmenite Coast in Perth.
- (5th year): The Regent and Gimpy are involved in a dispute, ends with the Regent's steed accidentally slain. Regent of the Empire withdraws from Imperial Isle, whereabouts unknown.
- (6th year): Best guess as to the start of the so called " Dark Ages ", recorded history struggles to be kept in Imperial Records, Realms go dark and out of touch with each other for a number of mercannum.

February 2015
- Concerted effort to reconnect the Realms and some semblance of Imperial Order made by Samaia Almandine. Nobles invited to construct outlying settlements to fuel the Imperial City project. Tiberton, Aestham, and Northtown all founded by Samaia, Asamu and Aurennis respectively. Work begins on dock walls in the Southern half of the City.
Floggen completes work on first city expansion in years, new farm district.


March 2015:
Port Goldcrest, New Ertia, suffers major damage from explosives suspected to have been placed by Serf Brawlator and accomplices; Re-building process assisted by Samaia of Perth.




April 2015
Work on Tiberton continues, additional mansions constructed, and Northtown continues to expand, in the Imperial City outskirts.
The Imperial Bank Opens for business within the mountains of the Imperial City.

May 2015:

Tiberton town hall is completed. Train station rail network hub started construction at this time.

June 2015:

- After talks with the Council and other Nobles, Grand Duchy of Reinen founded by Celestine after she goes independent of Pyrencia in the abdicated Kingdom of Isilioth, deciding that having a Warden of Isilioth would be in the Empire's best interest.
- Aestham founded as a small initial port in the Imperial City, bringing in further trade and material supplies for continued construction.
- Trial of Tyrion concludes his guilt over bombing and destruction of Port Goldcrest in Laborate, Ertia.
- The Chairman becomes a Duke and his lands, the G.R.H.H. is recognised as a Grand Duchy under the Council of the Crowned.
- The Gates of Dunn in Perth are completed after years of planning and material gathering, King Scrios, Duke Ferris and Duke Samaia celebrate.
- Duchy of Loitomalla founded in the northern regions of Perth, with frontier walled settlement Stromgart erected in less than a mercannum.

July 2015:

- Syvää Quarry founded in Duchy of Loitomalla, Perth, to fuel growing stone needs for Nearby Frostfall Castle.
- Mesaque founded along the border between Perth and Kaine as a trading town to exploit the vast mineral wealth and clay resources.
- Grand Duchy of Dawnstar founded by Samaia, after secret talks with King Scrios and the Council to provide additional Wardenship over Isiliothian lands.

June 2013:
-The Gathered join the Mercurian Empire and settle Tidewater in Venusi with the help of Pylos of Casadia and Faringar Talin of Zhuque (later Sothis).

July 2013:
-The Arcadia Crisis splits Zhuque into North Zhuque (Sothis) and South Zhuque.

August 2013:
-The Horse Expedition occurs
-There is a debate about updating the nether lines to accommodate horses
-The Bela Akvario Crisis, a territorial dispute between Lenier de Chenal and Gimpy, occurs. The heated debate causes the Regent and Lenier to temporarily leave the server.
-Arjen of New Ertia calls a meeting of the community to encourage new builds in the hopes of bringing the Regent back.

September 2013:
-The Unraveling begins with the detonation and discovery of bombs along the Green and Purple Nether Lines and in Gnosis, capital of Minerva. Many more bombs and bomb craters are discovered in Chenal, Gimpy's lands, the Orange Line, Casad Vohk, Tidewater, Sothis, and other settlements.
-Many new players are temporarily banned in the Great Exile: among them the Chairman, shushplz, Gimpy, fifthdragon, dum, captain_mayday, sirdigbywellington, etc. Around 20 players are either forced to leave the server or leave of their own volition. Faringar Talin and Sage leave the server to found the Ark with some of the players who were banned. Lenier de Chenal uses flyhacks to kill the Emperor (the Regent) and is permanently banned. He later became Emperor of the Ark.
-New players begin to return to Hermertia as the server moves over to the New World due to terrain generation changes.
-The Indoles Carta is drafted.
-The Gathered return to the Mercurian Empire under the leadership of the elderly Chairman. They are the first to be mandatorily placed under a liege (Arjen of Ertia) to prove themselves. The Chairman dies and Dax Chairmanson succeeds him.
