The Karsites were broken and decentralized into several feeble tribes as a result of the chaos that ensued within the Great Unraveling of the Empire. A new hope, the Stark family, assisted the Karsites back into imperial life several mercannum ago, but now the Stark family has taken even a further step by formally announcing the annexation of the Karsites with a new territorial claim. With this, all Karsites are now under the Laghiman rule in one way or the other. Grand Count Darius Stark was quoted below from a speech he gave on the occassion: "Our people have endured challenges and hardships for several hundred years now. Long have we survived the challenges The Great Creeper has given us. Long have we remained loyal to our ancient ways created on the boat rides to the new world. Long have we endured the harsh terrain of the southern lands. But no more suffering, no more. Today, I formally accept all Karsites into my realm of Laghima through the annexation of the Stone Peninsula and surrounding areas. Ahead of us is a new path to perfection, and that path is under the glorious Empire! Long Live!" |

Your people have suffered greatly during the chaotic time of the Old World, but it is good news to hear that your people are growing larger and stronger in their new footing in the southern lands of the Empire. |
