The people of Acholm are reacting to town criers proclaiming "The Empire cares for the realms no longer. The Council and the House are impotent." Large crowds have gathered before the Östur demanding the Ealdorman secure the nation's waters and territory against other realms who may take advantage of the perceived Imperial weaknesses. Many other crowds gather to protest the other crowd's "alternative facts." |

This upheaval is, if state sanctioned, likely to draw an Imperial Response to understand the extent of this. The Council wishes for unity, not disavowing bonds. |

This is most disheartening to hear. It is my hope that Ostlaed will be able to have continued peaceful relations with the rest of the Empire. If not, there will certainly be repercussions. |
