Ealdorman Mark Accynnafon II has ordered the creation of a group of holy troops, lead by the Knights of the Order, to be known as the Halig Frecan. This group of holy warriors shall be a professional, paid, standing army to augment the Östronweard regulars and militias. However, it will be under the direct order of Ealdorman Mark Accynnafon II, and be based in Acholm. It’s purpose is to act as a personal army to accompany the Ealdorman wherever he may go in the realm or abroad. Ealdorman Mark Accynnafon II has also ordered the recruitment of additional Knights of the Order of Sanct Creopbaina in Frithengestshire and Acholmshire. (Note: Halig Sccipun means "Holy Decree" in Östron) |

I am a bit dismayed as I was not informed of the matter. You would think a Grand Knight of my tenure would at least be given lip service in matters concerning the knights, no? Regardless, perhaps these new guards will help establish some order in the realm. |
