Given the limited number of (somewhat) easily obtained Elytra, I think it is important to manage the supply thereof in order to make sure that everyone has a chance to get one. Here is my proposal for a bill: Citizens of Hermertia may have no more than two Elytra in their possession at any given time. Should a citizen die and lose their Elytra, they may acquire another one. Those are my initial thoughts, feel free to discuss it further below. |

I'm not a great fan of your proposal. Why limit something, that you can have infinite of? For that reason I'm making my own proposal. I hope you don't mind, that I highjack your thread. Since 1.9 the looting tables for mobs and other entities were reworked. This would give us the possibilty to let the Ender Dragon drop a set of elytra, when he dies. This way, no one is forced to walk for 10k+ blocks to find an Elytra. Additionally everyone would have the fair chance to get his/her set of wings, when they feel ready to fight the ender dragon. Since the Ender Dragon Fight is the "end" content of the game, it feels fair to get a reward for it. Last but not least it would be ressourcefriendly for our server, since we will create a giant empty End file just by searching for Elytras in addition to the lag we cause by the new chunk creation. |

I think your proposal better addresses the issue, so I'll throw my support behind it. As long as the community is okay with modifying the loot tables, I don't see a downisde to your plan. |

We had a chat about this and I like Roglar's idea the most. It's a good boss fight and requires skill and planning, which results in the awesome reward of some wings. |

I would agree with Queen Vaethra. There should be a formal bill passing process for this to ensure it is official in nature. I don't disagree with it though. |
