Really cool! I'm guessing this uses seeds? Given the corridorlands is not accurate? Glad to see there are new mapping options since I last explored. Anyone run into a good one that doesn't use seed? With high rez? Would love to build a Google maps again |

We should at least once every quarter upload the server files to a passworded place for people to apply to have access to, to enable experimentation of mapping. Seeing as how there are many entrepreneurial types across the community |

This is most certainly true. I had to optimize file use carefully to get the experimental Google maps up I had uploaded in the past. But still, those with good rigs and experimentation could find a very optimal and efficient process potentially. The good news is we have explored perhaps 30% of what we would want before mountain painting or sea painting. Meaning there is an upper limit on our hardware stress. |

They are of the eastern side of the map. The site that you can get these photos from is driven by the seed (http://mineatlas.com/?levelName=3683679 ... unks=false) , although it doesnt use large biomes but there is almost no change in geography, only coordinates, which for maps is almost negligible difference. That's the link for our seed, have a look, it's like amidst only it doesnt crash every 5 seconds! ![]() |
