Aww. I recall from the chronicles of my ancestors a day when we had not yet discovered nether portals (they were not released yet when Hermertia started, believe it or not). The first major international forms of transportation were underground or aquaduct-like overpasses using rail lines. The explosion of development following the Claims Wars (a period of rapid expansion where new players arrived in the tight lands in droves) led to these lines. I have spent my last few years here, so I look forward to the renewal of trade and exchanges between the old and new world! (Lore off: I'm awaiting a plugin to reconnect the lands) I will be spending time this weekend on Mumble to share stories of old. Come on in if you want to reminisce, or if you have questions about our history. |
