Hey guys! If any of you are interested, I'd love to get a small group together to play through some sort of modpack. My boyfriend should be able to host a server with no problem, as long as the modpack doesn't have a ridiculous amount of mods. I'd like to play in scheduled "sessions" where we all can get together to socialize and have a good time. Let me know down below of what modpacks you would like to play, or any that you think would be fun for a small group. Also include when you can be available to play. This won't be a daily thing, just something different we can do up to 3 days a week if it fits in everyone's schedule. Here are a few modpacks I was looking at that we could try. Most of them have the Hardcore Quest Mod, which adds a whole new tier to gameplay in my opinion: Regrowth: It's a HQM driven pack where you find yourself in a desolate wasteland, lacking in natural growth and sparse of materials except for a few boulders and dead, charred trees. You'll quickly discover the depths of the earth to be barren as well, devoid of any form of ore. You will need to find a way to start restoring the presence of nature back to the world, and in doing so find yourself a way to start producing the materials you'll need to produce a thriving industry. Project Ozone: This modpack starts with you in the sky, while playing there will be quest to complete using the HQM mod. You can choose if you want to stay in the void world or you can move to another dimension. A skyblock map type. Agrarian Skies 2: Another Skyblock Challenge, but this time you can split up into teams on different islands to see who can complete the questbook the fastest. |

The quest book sounds fun. I'd be up for a competitive challenge. Would make an interesting break from civ. Any one else fancy that? |

I'd be down for it. Only problem for me is the group play time but I'm planning on getting a personal computer for myself within the next month so I should be fine. |

Reminds me of the Hypixel's minigames server. We fuck around on there from time to time. Those build challenges are hilarious. |

Never done a questbook thing in Minecraft. Sounds like it could be interesting. |

When are you thinking Syrah? Which one is it so we can set it up in advance, the questbook one. How many people do we need on each team for that? Is this boyfriend Tirion by any chance or someone else? |

I have a question. I never used mods, I tried once and never could get it to work even with Horatio's help. I'll probably sound a bit dumb, but are mods installed on the account/computer (so by everyone who wants to participate) or on the server (so only by the host and others just need to log in)? I'd love to join in on this, but I'm desperately technologically challenged... >.> |

So did you guys want to do the Agrarian Skies 2 in teams? Also, I was just looking around and found this mod called Ancient Warfare, where you can build up AI NPC's into armies and then eventually duke it out on large scale battles. Sjin from Yogscast did somewhat of a playthrough of this mod on his Youtube channel (Rule the World series). We can always turn to that if others can't handle a ton of mods on their computers. All of the modpacks that I've mentioned have the Hardcore Quest mod (questbook), so it's all up to preference! I personally suggest Regrowth since it somewhat has less ground to cover in the questbook. But, anyone can suggest something! @Liserette, Depending on which modpack we choose, everyone has to install the mods on their computer through the launcher the pack is supported in (Curse, ATLauncher, or FTB). I may have to hand out a custom/altered version of the modpack if their are problems (conflicts, etc.) |

If we want to do modded we could use Technic or Feed the Beast |
