Runil Indoril - Master cartographer of Avatarati To all our allies of the empire, With great joy I announce the creation of the cartographic society, a guild established to study the lands we inhabit and help us in future building projects. Many of you have seen our previous work mapping several regions of the empire, based on this and the growing interest of many rulers I have decided to start this organization for the sharing of cartographic knowledge. With the aid of Lord Avalon we have started construction of our first headquarters in the city of Koinia, which is an ambitious endeavor. I would like to make an invitation to any member of the empire that is interested in our trade to join our ranks, we can share ideas and methods for mapping, the guild is open for anything related to map making. After we finish the Koinia H.Q any aspirant can put his or her name in the hall of the cartographer to be an official member of the guild. Finally, do to the nature of our trade, cartographers will need to walk great distances, making their lifestyle quite nomadic. I would like to ask the rulers of the empire to donate a plot of their land to build cartographic headquarters so all the members have a place to rest and work safely no matter how far away from home they are. Ave ally! This is a most excellent development, where better than near the centre of the Empire to collect a vast array of maps and catrographic information. I would like to very much to become a member, once the Guild Hall is established. |

Yoo Avalon! I'm loving your announcement of a Cartographic Guild; it has been a long while coming in my humble opinion. Care to post this under the Guilds subforum, though? I'll be happy to move it if you'd like. |

Sorry for being inactive this week, I've been busy with college paperwork. I'll post over there once the H.Q is finished, which will be in this week. This was just an announcement for the whole comunity, Im thinking of creating a proper guild post with ranks and specific info. |
