Got disconnected with a message that said "flying is not allowed" no idea what happened, was able to reconnect immediately

On an unrelated note, found a nearby village, to my deserted village, anyway to lead the villagers from there to mine?

Yeah, the server can sometimes read jumping as flying. Just a lil bug dont even worry about it. and also you can use minecarts to bring them along (or just ask for some eggs from a king)

Gimpy is correct, nothing to worry about, sometimes happens when my conenction sucks balls to try and connect to the server.

Ask for eggs from a King, or Aeries.

Hey tree, the best way is to get them there by rail, if you leave a minecar on a set of rails they get stuck inside. I didnt have the type of villagers nearby that I wanted so I just cured a bunch of zombie villagers.

I have to disagree. The new best and most fabulous way to transport them is by boat. Even overland boats are a thing now!

Don't be shy, go with the time and use boats, my friend! Don't listen to rusty old Emsa.
