Hellos, I had a speed 13 horse which I kept in in a pen in Gallen. I barely used it as I intended to keep safe and use it mostly for breeding purposes. It is named Dertien with a tag, it is saddled and wears diamond armor. I just realized I haven's seen it in a while, and I searched everywhere I can think of. I would have lost it in the last two weeks, I hope it didn't go suffocate in a wall or something... Did someone see it, or maybe took it by mistake? Please let me know =( Thanks!

Hey there, Horses sometimes glitch out and just vanish. I have had at least 5 or 6 horses, particularly the named ones just flat out disappear, vanish, not even the saddle or armour drops. An example recently, when myself and Scrios went through a portal, both of our horses have completely disappeared without a trace. Its annoying but sometimes happens so that might have happened to your horse. |

I lost a horse earlier today as well. Sam's right, it probably glitched out unfortunately. |

 I've lost many a horse, mostly due to my own ineptitude. Hopefully you find it and it's not one of the glitched out ones. |

Unfortunately I'm out of places to search, I think it's gone. I have a bunch of 12s, maybe if I<m persistent and very lucky, I can breed them and get another 13 within a few decades. Thanks for your kind words though <3 |

So I measured the speed of the remaining horses I had. I thought I had mostly 12s in there, but I only two that were above 11: a 12 and a 13. ... Yes, I have a 13 again. No, it's not Dertien. Why yes, I'm quite confused. Maybe... maybe I had two 13s? Maybe I had named the wrong horse? Maybe I somehow miraculously bred a 13 out of two 12s?? Well anyway, the meat of this post is basically "Yayyyyyyy!!!" And also "Whaaaaa?" But mostly "Yayyyyyyy!!!" |

Question: How do you measure the speed of a horse? I can't imagine any way that would be errorless. I found a group of horses on my hardcore singleplayer world, on a trek between a nether fortress portal and my main base. I need to get back and forth between the portal and the base often and quickly, but F the horses, I'm using a ton of iron and gold to make a rail system. But I reckon in Hermertia with all the possible destinations, and horse racing contests, there'd be more use for a horse. |
