To the members of the Council of the Crowned, I, Aren Axefall, former Mayor of Graycott, Wysteria, under Nicholas II, do petition the Council to grant my claim of independence.

I have been cast out of my home, convicted of a crime I did not commit. The trial was a farce, the evidence non-existent, and yet still I was banished. I do not have much hope for this new 'democracy' in Wysteria.

I would make a new home among the natives in this distant land. I would work to bring trade and commerce to the northeast corner of the realm through construction of a shipping hub, to supplement the large fishing industry already in place. I believe I could help bring great prosperity and growth to this region.

I've enclosed surveys of the proposed claim, which I call Haven.

So long as neighbours are fine with this it has my blessing. A small island is a good size to get started for any realm and is consistent with our claim sizes.
