Good Evening everyone,

I'd like to submit my application to the server, I have just come back to MC and I am somewhat an amateur with very little MC experience. My name is Shane hailing from England, I am 27, halfway to 28 and I work full time Mon-Fri, using my Evenings and Weekends chilling out with some gaming.
After searching for a server to call home I stumbled across yours on Reddit and after looking at your FAQ etc it seems like a server I would thoroughly enjoy. I would like to be apart of the server to experience some of the more role play elements as I have little experience in this on MC, and in general as I have only role played in Rust before.

If I get accepted into Hermertia I would like to play out as a form of traveller/explorer, Not particularly settling down in one kingdom but travelling around exploring and trading any valuables I find for supplies etc. - Living out of makeshift camps/huts during the night and exploring during the day. The only skills I can employ in Hermertia are my socialism and friendliness when encountering people on my journeys

My character is unaware of where he comes from as he has been travelling and has never settles in one place since a young child, only finding Hermertia by coincidence, whilst journerying on a charter ship to search for new treasures there was bad sea weathers that became too much for the ship to handle and found himself shipwrecked on the shores of Hermertia. Not keeping track of birthdays my character does not know his age only that he is late twenties and is human, having never settled down my character has no family, I have never been in one place long enough to inherit a culture and have no beliefs in a religion.

There's plenty of time to develop your lore and stuff once you get accepted and usually once a player joins a liege they can take the lore further properly and with more direction after you've got a better idea of the world.

With this being a relatively new experience for me I'm sure once I get used to it my lore will develop quite alot. In regards to builds, this is where my limited mc experience hinders me. I've never actually done much building in MC, I've had basic shacks and buildings for storage, crafting etc. But when I played it was with a real life friend and I did mostly exploration and gathering and he managed building the fantastic structures haha. However I'll hop onto the creative server later after work to see what I can mock up for presentation, although and I hope this doesn't hinder my application I don't plan to settle into a particular kingdom I would thoroughly enjoy roaming around between kingdoms for trading purposes and exploring outside of kingdoms.

There is certainly a huge amount to explore, however you will have an area to call your own, be it a farmstead, a small hamlet, trading hub, exploration office with map rooms, or if you're feeling adventurous, a town or a complex for trade, business and to showcase your explorations via map walls and such. The Liege/Vassal system is such that one Lord will be your liege and will be responsible for you, and having your own place within their Realm is standard practice to give and to build up over time ( zero pressure for this btw!).

When I joined I had never really built anything proper or anything of great import, I had a survival world and was exploring the game and such and kept finding all the features that Minecraft had to offer, and after I joined this server 3 years ago my building capability gradually increased over time through exposure to other styles and a desire to make a lasting impression on the server. You can perform those feats in time as well!

You could even make a new Guild or company, or join an existing one, that deals with trade and exploring or courier company between Realms, with some ships at the ports we have or cart depots or offices in people's lands. There are millions of potential ideas. It'd be cool to explore with you, there are places I havent even been to and I've been here for years! Thats how much stuff we have amassed in our Empire's long history!
