+Originally hailing from the Old Kingdom of Isilioth (Era of the Snake), the people of New Isilioth were first recognized under the Realm of Elenya in 08-02 (3rd Era - Cycle of the Owl) by the Mercurian Empire. After the events of the Great Strife, the remains of the Isilian people fled by sea, and settled in what was known as Almerada. There, the Realm of Elenya was formed, the capital being Corbenic. Elder Thrain, second of his name, became the first Governor of Elenya after the expansion of the realm. His son Cyrus, third of his name, then became the first King of Elenya and reformed the Kingdom into the Kingdom of New Isilioth; just before the events of [[wiki:events:unraveling|the Unraveling]].
